I attended Basford Hall College from 1974-76 , completing my apprenticeship in 1977 with T&H Decorators of Nottingham, went onto work for various large contractors including Johns of Nottingham and Simms Decorators.
In 1985, I worked in London on a large contract which was a complete re decoration of the Foreign Office and I recall the magnificence of the ornate internal craftsmanship, which after seeing such ‘craftsmanship’ inspired me towards excellence in painting and decoration and called on everyone’s skills to maintain the highest standards possible.
In 1986, I set up my own business and I now celebrate 25 years of trading with the launch of this web site.
